Faces everybody can love...

Everyone can appreciate an adorable face.

Thanksgiving

We are always looking for something to do for daycare. So we made turkeys...two days in a row. The first day we made cupcake turkeys. The second day we made pencil and sucker turkeys. It was fun and of course we always have to invite friends.

More goofy face

We should just call this the Toby blog. But seriously...how many goofy camera faces can a baby make? Apparently more than I thought!

No, No Toby

No is Toby's favorite word. Okay, well probably not HIS favorite word but it's definitely the word he hears the most. On this particular day, I turned my back for not even a minute and found him in the master bathroom with my new lipstick. He was sitting on the floor with the lipstick broken in half all over his hands and all over his clothes and all over my floor. Thank goodness it was no where near our carpet! Anyway, I was very frustrated and pretty mad so I stuck him in the tub to get it washed off him and decided to get the camera. Well, after I got the camera the minute he saw it he was making that goofy camera face he makes and then I was really mad because I didn't want him to think he had done something cute. Just look at the picture. Do you vote for cute??? AAHHHH...sometimes he just makes me want to pull my hair out!

Halloween

Well everybody knows that Halloween is my least favorite holiday of all time...I am a party pooper. The kids love it though so I guess that's why I continue to stress myself out every year for Halloween. They did all look pretty cute. I wasn't sure about the zebra costume for Tobes but he ended up being so adorable not to mention SO happy with all that candy!!! Tyler made a cute Flounder. We went to the Heartland for her preschool Halloween party and it was fun to watch her recite her little poems she learned at preschool with her class. She was pretty excited about the costume which we borrowed from Aunt Lisa. Kylie was a witch and Kamryn was a pirate. I went to their Halloween parties at their school and it was fun to see all their classmates dressed up too. Of course they picked out their costumes. Kamryn's was pretty last minute. I think she lost her eye patch before she'd worn it much.

New house

Wow...so it's been forever since I've posted anything! I took a few pics of the house. We moved in about a month ago. It's been great. We love everything about living here and we love the house. We still have a lot of stuff to unpack but we are feeling very at home now. We have countless people to thank for all the help we had from painting to cleaning (mom mostly for that one!) and babysitting...the list goes on and on. We couldn't have done it without all our family and friends. There is still TONS to do but we can only take it one day at a time!

First Day of school

Well...here we are...already the first day of school. Awww, aren't they so cute? Tyler starts preschool on Tuesday and she can't stop talking about it. Kylie is doing a whole science unit in fourth grade about insects which is right up her alley. And Kamryn is sitting by one of her best friends, Bethany in third grade. I asked her teacher how that was working out and she said theya re getting a new seating chart starting next week. It was pretty funny. But all in all, we are happy to have somewhat of a routine again and I am happy to have all younger kids in daycare again, not to mention less kids! How do you turn these pictures anyway?

Shop and Toby "helping"

Here's a picture of our shop...we love the red barn look. And then we have a picture of Toby after crawling through the house. He gets soooo filthy! But he looks cute regardless. It seems we make many trips out to the house...even in one day. It is hard on the gas bill!

Toby's first haircut

Lisa came over and gave Toby his first haircut. We gave him a buzz. It has been nice and cool for summer and one less head of hair to fix for mom on Sunday. He looks older. His new thing lately is I say "toby, do you want to nurse?" And he shakes his head no and says "nuh uh" It's really cute. Needless to say, I think we're done nursing. He is now taking steps (yes, at 14 months) and I am gearing myself up to be chasing. He's already in to a lot of stuff!

New house

This is a picture of our house in July and then our house in August. We are hoping to be in to paint this weekend or early next week.
